Beta draft v1.0. Formal legal review required.

Beta Confidentiality & Security

This page explains the confidentiality, privacy, security, and read-only access expectations for Bunga beta participants.

It is plain product guidance for beta testing, not final legal advice or an approved standalone contract.

1. Confidentiality

The Bunga beta app, including its features, interface, roadmap, and testing materials, is confidential information of Mark Christian Calugay/Bunga.

Beta participants should not share screenshots, videos, recordings, public reviews, or unpublished product details without prior written consent.

2. Privacy and beta data

Bunga collects the information needed to operate the beta, including account details, platform preferences, household finance records users enter, and support context.

For Philippines participants, beta signup and product data should be handled with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 in mind. For United States participants, users may request deletion of beta signup data.

Privacy, correction, deletion, and account-support requests can be sent to info@bunga.app.

3. Read-only financial visibility

Bunga is designed for financial visibility and review. It should not be treated as a tool that moves, withdraws, transfers, lends, or invests customer funds.

Connected account flows are intended to show balances and transaction information where supported. Manual transaction entry and receipt capture remain available when a provider is not connected.

4. Security expectations

Bunga uses administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information and reduce unauthorized access risk.

No internet service can guarantee perfect security. Users should keep their Google account secure and report suspected unauthorized access promptly.

5. No professional advice

Bunga and Bunga Guardian provide financial organization, education, and product guidance. They do not provide legal, tax, investment, lending, or professional financial planning advice.

6. Review path

This beta confidentiality page is draft product language for testing readiness. Formal legal, privacy, and compliance review is required before relying on it as final contract language.

The source handoff is maintained in docs/legal/beta-confidentiality.md so future reviewers can trace the beta requirements and issue history.
